"Hmmm...birthday present...birthday present...where can I find a good one that is cheap and isn't from the lottery corner..."
Yunneth knew that there were some cute prizes at the lottery corner. some prizes were from popular animes and most are key chains but a key chain is not a good birthday gift but she can't over spend despite the fact this weeks paycheck was a good one.
"She mentioned something about concert tickets but those are expensive...especially the very popular singers and idols."
Yunneth heard that some tickets are almost sold out which means she would have to fight her way through crazed fans to a singer she is not a fan of. That sounds very unpleasant to her and would rather not get involved. Maybe a shirt? But she may want something to go with it...UGH! This is difficult."
The raven mentally groaned before taking her phone out and started playing on it. She needed time to think on it and maybe window shopping and walking around would give her time to think.
A tall, blonde woman sighed as she walked with a bag full of stuffs in her hand. She hated to be in the shopping mall right at the moment. There was no reason for her to be there as she had done her weekly grocery shopping, she did not need to buy stationeries or anything else, and, well, she should be working on a report. The deadline was still a week away, but the dhampir wanted to get it done as soon as possible. She hated to have a work half-done and—well, it was a report for Hamanaka-sensei's laboratory class. Everyone knows he liked to advance assignments deadline all of a sudden, so it was always best for them to finish any assignment that was given by him, including lab reports, as soon as possible. Yet there was the dhampir, helping someone shopping for party supplies instead.
It was the silver-haired female who was walking a few steps ahead of Seri who was at fault for dragging her to the shopping mall. The blonde dhampir did try to refuse accompanying the wererabbit to the mall, but the latter ignored her words and insisted to go. Seri insisted to stay at her friend's place to work on her assignment, yet the wererabbit simply dragged her out of the house. Of course, there was a tough fight before the silver-haired was able to do what she wanted.
Another sigh escaped from the blonde's lips as she saw the silver-haired stopped walking all of a sudden. She kept walking, passing her friend who was looking as if she was pondering about something. As she did it, she heard the other woman speaking in a soft yet cheerful tone, "Alright, next, is a dress for you, Seri-chan."
The dhampir turned her face to the silver-haired wererabbit and replied coldly, "I don't need it."
The wererabbit simply smiled. "I'd like you to meet someone, so it would be very nice if you wear something appealing..." There was a hint of mischief in her eyes that made Seri absolutely tempted to throw something at her or even slap her hard with her bare hand. Yet, she resisted the tempation for the moment. "I said no. I have enough in my closet."
"I don't think those dresses would be appealing enough for him—ah."
As if she had found something interesting, the silver-haired female stopped talking and walked over to a girl who seemed to be playing with her phone. Seri let out yet another sigh as she knew the wererabbit was up to no good and that girl might be dragged into trouble. Poor girl.
"Greetings, young lady. Do you have a little free time, by any chance? I and my friend are trying to find a perfect dress for her, but we keep going into disagreement. Would you like to help us?"
Of course, as Seri had expected. There was the wererabbit, trying to convince a poor raven-haired girl to help her. Trying to drag a stranger into troubles... How unacceptable. I wonder how did we became friends.
"Emilia, don't drag her into our problem, please," said the dhampir to her friend as she approached both females. She then turned to the raven-haired girl, speaking in a somewhat softened but cold voice, "Sorry, but don't listen to her, she isn't being serious."
With that, the blonde dhampir grabbed the silver-haired female's hand firmly, trying to drag her away from the young raven-haired girl.

Yunneth continued to play on her phone as she walked. It took her completely by surprise when a random stranger approached her. It seems she and her friend were in a dilemma. A disagreement? Regarding a dress? This seemed a little strange to the girl but after thinking about it, perhaps it isn't too rare for friends to disagree on clothes.
"Well..."
Before she could answer, it seems the blonde woman was trying to dissuade her silver haired from involving strangers in the discussion. Before the silver haired one could be dragged away, Yunneth quickly took the blonde by the wrist.
"W-wait! Wait a moment please! Uh...I never said if I would help or not. Just to let you know I am no fashionista but...I can still help.
She knew it was none of her concern but...why not? She still needed to figure out what present to get her friend but perhaps this moment could be used to give her mind a break?
Just before Seri could drag Emilia away, the young girl took her by her wrist, telling them that she never said if she would help or not. But before Seri could say anything, the girl said that despite not being a fashionista, she could still help, making a deep, disappointed sigh came out from the dhampir’s lips as she pulled her hand from the young girl. I thought you will do me a favor by not offering any help to this silly rabbit. Turned out I was wrong.
Meanwhile, the silver-haired wererabbit was quite excited to hear the young girl’s reply. “Well, it’s not a big problem if you’re not a fashionista. As long as you could help us settle this dispute, I’ll be very glad.”
When the raven-haired girl asked what dress she—yes, she, not they—was looking at, the wererabbit put a finger in front of her lips, pondering. “Let’s see… Something formal, elegant, but also cute at the same time...”
“Cute?” Seri looked at her friend quizzically.
“Mmhm,” The silver-haired nodded with a bright smile on her face. “You heard it right.”
“Anything but ‘cute’, please,” said the blonde flatly. She knew what the wererabbit means by ‘cute’, and it was not something she liked. Not at all. “And just to clarify a thing,” she added a moment later, “I did not say I want a dress. You’re the one who said you’ll buy me one, Emilia.”
True, it was the silver-haired wererabbit’s idea, not hers. The young raven-haired girl should know about that—this troublesome misunderstanding should be cleared.
“Oh, my.” The wererabbit put a disappointed look on her face. “How unfortunate. I thought she would be lovely if she wears something cute, don’t you think so, young lady?”
“No.” Seri gave a somewhat stern look at Emilia before turning to the raven-haired girl. “Please, tell her: ‘No’.”
I’m not going to wear anything cute, you damn harebrained woman. And will never be, especially if it’s by your definition of ‘cute’.
your notes can go here; both of these dealios go to two lines, but keep it short!
"Well..."
Yunneth thought to herself a moment, looking the young woman up and down. No...perhaps cute is not a style that would work well.
"I do not believe a cute dress would be best. I mean...I have seen cutesy things on adult women and it's rather...strange. In my opinion at least. No, I feel something more refined or elegant is in order. Perhaps something blue. Dark blue."
Yunneth could not help but picture a long blue sleeveless dress. To go with it, she could also see a long ribbon choker with a blue flower in the center. That would be lovely though it would be more for nice parties.
"Black heels would look nice too. Uh...do you wear heels? No wait! Better question is can you wear heels? Also what exactly are you wanting in the dress?
Well...if she is being made to buy a dress she might as well get a say on something. It is only fair.
Seri was almost smiling when she heard the raven-haired girl’s opinion. “You hear that?” Although she sounded as if she was asking, in fact she was sure her silver-haired friend heard the same thing. Of course, the dhampir felt that she needed to reiterate what the younger girl said, just in case. “Cute things on adults is rather strange, especially if we go by your definition of ‘cute’.” A sigh before she added a statement, “I would never wear such things.”
“But, Seri-chan, I—we know that you wear a cute teddy bear p—” The wererabbit tried to say something, but before she could finish her sentence, Seri casually pinched her arm—hard enough to make the silver-haired groaned in pain. The dhampir also gave her a cold glare as if giving her a warning not to say whatever she was trying to say seconds ago. Right, don’t talk about what I wear inside. It’s a secret. Shut up. Shush.
Once she was sure Emilia was not going to say anything inappropriate and could be potentially embarrassing, Seri released her pinch to address the young girl’s question about heels. “Heels? I can wear heels pretty well. Not a fan of them, though,” the blonde stated matter-of-factly.
Speaking of what she wants in the dress... “Did you mention something blue earlier?” Just making sure I heard it right. “Blue would be a nice color, or neutral ones. Something classic—black, maybe?” At this point Seri stared at Emilia again, and the wererabbit sighed as if she knew what not to say. To be honest Seri did not care if Emilia told the little girl about how many dresses she has in the colors she mentioned, but since it’s the wererabbit, she could not help but try to keep her mouth shut as long as possible.
“And, uhm, I guess I’d like something classy. Lace—a lace sleeve, perhaps? Yes, I’d like that. Details would be fine as long as it’s not too much—” Realizing that she was carried away a little bit, the dhampir stopped talking immediately and cleared her throat. “No, I don’t want any dress. Not right now, I have homework to do. So does this woman right here.”
“That one is due next week, Seri-chan,” said the silver-haired wererabbit.
“Next week, right. But you know how unpredictable Hamanaka-sensei is.”
“True, but our reports are ninety percent done, at least. Wait a minute, yours is like ninety-five—no, perhaps ninety-eight percent done?”
Exactly. That is why I want to get it done as soon as possible, you damn rabbit. Just a little bit more and then you dragged me to this place.
“That’s why I want to go home now.” A deep sigh before the dhampir continued, “Let’s finish our homework.”
“Aww, come on. We will get to it later, Seri-chan. No need to rush,” said the wererabbit, but it fell on deaf ear. The dhampir began to walk away, though before she could really go away, she was stopped by the silver-haired woman’s hold on her wrist.
“You need to relax and have fun sometimes, Seri. If you keep being so hard to yourself, I can assure you will suffer one day,” Emilia spoke calmly to the blonde before turning to the raven-haired. “Am I right, young lady?”
Right, but— It’s not the time to relax. Seriously—
“Also… I think I owe you a birthday present.”
Birthday present? My birthday was months ago, and I don’t care about presents.
Another deep sigh as the blonde dhampir released herself and said, “I’m sorry, but I think my closet is already full at the moment.”
Yunneth looked at the two, a little unsure of what to say at this point. Was the other about to say "pajamas?" If so, there was no shame in cute pajamas. She herself had bear pajamas she liked to wear. Nothing wrong with it in her opinion. Was she expected to wear something plain or risque? How strange. Yunneth listened as the blonde explained what she was looking for. Either black or blue and it has to be classy. Maybe with lace? It sounded very elegant. Though when she suddenly turned down a dress all together, she just looked at the blonde then her friend. Then why bring her over? Not to be rude but...she did have places she needed to get to. Of course Yunneth will just wait. She did not mind helping though at this point she wondered if she is still needed or not. Soon the two began to talk among themselves. During the conversation, she simply sat and listened. Just what was she getting into? When pulled into the conversation, Yunneth quickly answered.
"I am neutral on that. One does need to relax or they can burn themselves out. On the other hand, if you shirk your duties, that can be just as bad as everyone will give you grief and all that undone work can bite your bum harder than a snapping turtle."
This time she does not plan on taking sides. Boy are these two opposites. When apologizing, Yunneth chuckled, managing to smile.
"Please do not apologize. If you do not have the room then you just do not. I am happy I at least tried to help.
The dhampir could not believe herself that she was talking rather eagerly about her preferences. That was why, she stopped herself from talking more as soon as she realized how far she had been carried away. If she made the young girl confused, it was definitely not her fault. Who in the world asked me about what I wanted in a dress, anyway? According to the blonde's mind, it was the young girl's fault for throwing herself into the silver-haired wererabbit's trap. She did try to free that girl from trouble, did she not? But then that raven-haired girl insisted to 'help'... How naïve of her.
And then it is me who fall into the same trap. Unacceptably ridiculous.
When the raven-haired young girl was sharing her point of view, Seri listened intently. To be frank, the blonde agreed with the girl on some points, but being a rigid workaholic woman that she is, she did not admit that the girl was right about having to relax. Admittedly, she wanted herself some time to relax, but she could not left a task unfinished. When she did, like at the moment, she felt somehow uneasy and uncomfortable.
The wererabbit herself merely smiled upon listening to the young girl's opinion. "Did you listen to her, Seri-chan?"
"Priorities, priorities," the dhampir mumbled a reply, then sighed.
When the young girl told her not to apologize, Seri let out another sigh. "No, but I'm really sorry," she said, "I appreciate your good intentions, but I didn't want you to be stuck in our argument." Really. The blonde then looked at her friend and told her, "Let's go home and leave this girl alone, Emilia."
"My, my, how unfortunate." Emilia played with her silver hair as she was speaking. "Well, if that's what you want, fine. But, before we go—" The wererabbit then turned to the raven-haired girl, smiling. "Since you did try to help me, would you please accept my token of gratitude?"
The silver-haired opened her purse and pull out two small pieces of paper, then gave them to the young girl. "They're tickets for one of the popular singers in this town's concert at the end of the month. I planned to attend the concert with a friend, but unfortunately, some things forced us to throw our original plan away. I've been trying to sell them to someone else, but had no success so far, so I'm giving it to you for free."
