These rooms are open to students to use for studying, either by themselves or with classmates, but they offer privacy not found in many other places on campus - the windows are distorted so you can't see details, and they're mostly sound-insulated when the doors are closed. These are snatched up quickly, so you have to be either vigilant or lucky to get an open one.
